Vampire Facial
How It Works
All Vampire Facial treatments are done with the SkinPen, which is the gold standard for microneedling and the world’s first FDA cleared microneedling device on the market.
Microneedling is a skin rejuvenating procedure in which multiple tiny needles create punctures or micro channels into the top layer of the skin.
These small micro wounds cause your body to make more collagen and elastin helping to improve fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, scarring and uneven skin tone and texture.
When microneedling is combined with PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma therapy AKA the Vampire facial the results are far superior to microneedling alone. The PRP is collected by drawing a small amount of blood and then spun in a device called a centrifuge. This process allows for the patients own blood to be separated and the PRP to be extracted.

What is PRP?
(platelet rich plasma)
The PRP is rich in growth factors that stimulate healing and repair creating a local stem cell response which regenerates and rejuvenates the skin. PRP has been utilized to stimulate wound healing, tissue regeneration, scar healing and hair growth for decades and because it uses your own blood it is completely natural.
What To Expect
First, the treated area will be thoroughly numbed with topical anesthesia.
Then, a small amount of blood will be taken using a butterfly needle for patient comfort and spun in a centrifuge.
Once the treatment is ready to start the numbing cream is removed and the PRP is applied to the skin ready to be microneedled into the tissues.
